The Mount Snow 2009/2010 event schedule is bigger and better than any other year before.
We have something for everyone, big air and big events like the Winter Dew Tour, huge festivals like the Mount Snow Mardi Gras Celebration during Presiden'ts Week, concerts and music acts including Tim Renyolds and Rusted Root at the Snow Barn and big time fun all the time!
For more information on the mountain's entire season of events, music, competitions and more visit the Mount Snow Event Calendar.
While we have events on most weekends throughout the season there are tons of other activities to do within the Mount Snow Valley. The Chamber of Commerce is a great resouce for area wide events and activities for the entire family. For more information about area wide events visit the Mount Snow Valley Chamber of Commerce website.
Here are a few other fun family activities we recommend:
Snowmobiling
High Country Snowmobile Tours at Mount Snow are guided tours through the Green Mountain National Forest. Tours are customized and provided for all riding abilities. You will experience a variety of terrain ranging from thick wooded pines to wide-open stretches. In order to operate the snowmobile you must be at least 18 years of age. All snowmobiles are new Ski-Doo's touring ELT's, 380 cc and can accommodate two people. We ask that children be at least 4 years of age to ride as passengers. This sport is not recommended for anyone with back problems or anyone who is pregnant.
To make your day more enjoyable we recommend that you dress sensibly: a coat, snowpants, boots and gloves are a must. We do not rent clothing, however we do have clothing available if necessary. We also ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your reservation time dressed and ready to go. Oh, and don’t forget your camera!
Tours leave from the Lift Operations Building (building to the right of the Discovery Center). This is also where check-in will take place.

Husky Works Mushing
Experience winter as never before. Be pulled by a team of Siberian huskies on the ride of a lifetime.
Experience the thrill and excitement of a dog sledding adventure in the Green Mountians of southern Vermont. A team of our friendly Siberian huskies will take you on an exhilarating ride on our network of groomed woods trails. With a musher as your guide you will get a chance to witness true working sled dogs in action, doing what they love to do... run!
Your adventure begins with an introduction to the kennel and the dogs that will be pulling your sled. We will demonstrate how we harness the team and give you an overview of what to expect. The real excitement starts as we hook up the team and start your ride travelling through Vermont's scenic winter landscape.
