JIV Southern Vermont Council Alpine Race-GS 01/03/2010 Check out Southern Vermont's best 11-12 year old alpine racers as they hit the slopes at Mount Snow. Six programs send athletes to compete in the season long qualifiers as they attempt to be the best in Vermont. Race begins on Ego Alley at 10am with awards following shortly after completion of their second run outside the Training Center. Come cheer on these young athletes as they put it all on the line for speed and glory!

Youth Pay Their Age Day #2 01/10/2010 Our second of three Youth Pay Their Age Day* promotions. It's pretty simple really. If you or your child is 16 years old their lift ticket price for the day is $16! *Applies to children ages 6-18

USSA Revolution Tour 01/14/2010 - 01/15/2010 The USSA Revolution Tour rolls into Carinthia at Mount Snow. Snowboarders will compete in slopestyle and superpipe competitions. More details to come in the next few weeks. USSA Website

Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza 01/16/2010 Join us as our Mount Snow Ski & Snowboard School instructors will descend the Canyon ski trail in a beautiful torchlight glow. Immediately following we'll light up the sky with a huge fireworks display. The festivities kick off at 5:30pm. The best place to watch our instructors decend Standard is between the Clocktower and the Cape House.

Kids Grommet Jam #2 01/18/2010 Our second of three Grommet Jam events for our 12 and under skiers and riders. This event series is a great way for kids to get out and learn a few things from our coaches and ski school instructors. Coaches and instructors from our Training Center and Ski & Snowboard School will help out our little jibbers in the Grommet park at Carinthia in the morning and after a lunch break (not included) we'll have a fun park competition with an awards ceremony to immediately follow. This year registration for this popular event has been increased to 70 youngsters and will also be available for pre-registration online. Prizes and raffle for both parents and kids immediately follow at the Carinthia Base Lodge. This event annually sells out so make sure you register early. Online pre-registration will be available shortly. Please check back often. Cost: $40 (lift ticket not included) Registration: 8am - 9:30am Carinthia Base Lodge Basement Park Instruction: 10am - 11:30am Lunch Break: 11:30am - 12:45pm (pick up kids at the park please) Competition: 1pm - 2:30pm Awards: 3:15ish (Carinthia Deck)
