Freestyle skiing and snowboarding’s elite athletes converged at Carinthia in January 2009 and over 20,000 fans on the snow and millions on LIVE NBC coverage, witnessed history as Mount Snow hosted the second stop of the first ever Winter Dew Tour.

In 2010 the Dew Tour returns to Mount Snow but this time for the Toyota Championships. The finals of the Dew Tour is the crowning jewel of the 3-stop tour and athletes will be throwing down for a piece of the $1.5 million cash purse and the Dew Cup.

Athletes such as Simon Dumont, Kelly Clark, Shaun White, Hannah Teter, Danny Davis, and many more will be competing in slopestyle and super pipe compeitions over three days.

While the action takes a break fans can check out the Festival Village right in the Carinthia Base Area. The Village features sponsor booths, interactive games, athlete autograph signings and tons of free goodies.

Look for a Verizon Wireless Concert announcement in the upcoming months as well as confirmed athletes attending the last major competition before the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler.

Other Dew Tour stops include Breckenridge, Colorado in December and Snow Basin, Utah in January.

Stay tuned for more information on competition and TV schedules.

The Winter Dew Tour and the Toyota Championships is produced in part by a grant from the Dover Economic Development Committee.
