Whether you want the challenge of riding Olympic qualifying trails or are just out for a cruise with the family, Mount Snow has a little bit of something for everyone.
For beginners, take an easy spin along the Carinthia Connector and head over to the Crosstown Trails, located 1 ½ miles from Mount Snow. This will provide a family or new rider with a comfortable introduction to the sport.
If you want to be challenged like the pros stop by the Mount Snow Sports shop in the Grand Summit and ask for "THE" XC route. Our cloverleaf route incorporates a number of the most challenging trails on the mountain including "Over the Bars," "Palisades," and "Clincher". Our five mile loop climbs over 500 feet and features single track, work road, stream crossings, and downhill sections. It has been ridden on by some of the best ever including two-time National Champion Adam Craig and even 5-time Tour de France champ, Lance Armstrong!
The Main Base Area is the hub for mountain bike operations and services. The terrain difficulty includes 15% beginner, 50% intermediate and 35% advanced. For more information stop by Mount Snow Sports in the Grand Summit Hotel to pick up a trail map or call (802) 464-4040.
There will be no mountain bike lift services during the Vermont Blues Festival - August 21-23, 2009
