Perform the day-to-day office duties such as greeting staff and applicants, filing, issuing staff ID’s, name tags, and answering phones. Respond to routine questions on Human Resources policies and procedures. Assist employees, guests and others with general requests in person, via email and over the phone in a friendly and respectful manner. Assist in processing a variety of applications, employment information and other confidential forms and documents. Assist with all staffing on-boarding processes and communications. Assist the HR team with staff functions, such as orientations, trainings and staff functions. Qualifications: 1-2 years office experience; good organizational, administrative and communication skills. Computer experience required, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Work days — Mon-Fri until ski season starts and then will be Saturday — Wednesday. Position will begin October 2014 for the winter season

Central Reservations agents answer incoming calls from individuals, travel agents and/or groups. Provide a wide variety of information about available lodging and packages as well as general information about Mount Snow and the area. Agents book reservations entering into two separate computerized reservation systems in addition to performing related clerical and office duties assigned. Position begins in Sept. 2014 for the winter season.

Job Title: Ticket Express Agent
Season: Winter

The Central Reservations Ticket Express Agent runs daily reports of prepaid lift tickets/rentals. Prints the lift tickets/rental vouchers in the Sirius ticketing system and then delivers the tickets to area inns and lodges. The candidate must be at least 21 years of age, a clean valid driver’s license and insurance on their personal vehicle (although a Mount Snow vehicle is provided for deliveries) The ideal candidate will be very detail orientated, have computer experience, enjoy some solitary desk time and some time on the move. This part time seasonal position begins December 2014 for the winter season.

CDL, basic mechanical experience and computer literacy are preferred.

Job Title: Base First Aid Supervisor
Season: Winter

Administer patient care in Base First Aid. Greet, asses and render care to walk in injured or ill guests. Respond to base area injuries as well as assist on hill patrollers while in BFA. Coordinate staff coverage in BFA, facilitate communications with Summit, patient, patient family/friends and Mountain Medical Services. Insure correct incident forms are complete, accurate, and legible. Keep records, maintain equipment, inventory and order supplies, maintain a clean and safe BFA facility for patients and staff. CPR and Outdoor Emergency Care certifications required. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as computer and organizational skills required. Ability to perform safely and effectively in fast paced environment. One year experience in first aid/medical field preferred. Position is full time seasonal.

Coordinate and supervise daily ski patrol operations including but not limited to trail opening and closing procedures, trail maintenance, first aid for guests and employees, reporting of weather/snow conditions, on-hill projects, special event staffing, lift evacuation, and safety awareness training of guests and employees; Ensure that personnel follow established company safety guidelines and industry standards; Facilitate and assist with daily training and evaluation of ski patrol staff; Coordinate ski patrol coverage of resort and assist with scheduling as needed. Minimum of 4 years of Patrol Experience. Knowledge of emergency action plans, terrain park operations and safety campaigns. Well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong leader. Clean valid driver’s license required. CPR and OEC certifications required as well as all NSP certs.

Responsible for providing snow removal operations in a safe and efficient manner while exceeding expectations and meeting deadlines. This includes plowing, sanding and salting as appropriate. Roads staff must be willing and able to drive/work in a variety of weather conditions including snow, wind, freezing rain and sub-zero temperatures. Additional responsibilities include basic preventative maintenance and cleaning, fire wood distribution, heavy equipment operation, traffic control and similar assignments as requested. Must have a clean valid Driver’s License and be able to sit for long periods of time, lift 25-50 lbs frequently and bend, twist and kneel around equipment. Previous experience is not necessary but is preferred. DOT Medical card is preferred, CDL is a plus. Must be a team player with a strong commitment to safety, have excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude. Schedules vary to include nights, weekends and holidays.

If you like working with children and enjoy the mountains, you’ll want to join our Child Care staff. Classrooms range from 6 weeks to 6 years. Responsibilities include the assistance with and supervision of daily operations of assigned group of children, including indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, reading and assisting with opening/closing procedures and general maintenance of facility. Qualifications: Assistant teachers must be at least 18 years of age, and must complete one class in Early Childhood Education within one year of employment. Enthusiasm for children, experience working with children, general knowledge of childcare and the desire to learn more about early childhood education required for all positions. Shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:45-5:15.
