Responsible for providing snow removal operations in a safe and efficient manner while exceeding expectations and meeting deadlines. This includes plowing, sanding and salting as appropriate. Roads staff must be willing and able to drive/work in a variety of weather conditions including snow, wind, freezing rain and sub-zero temperatures. Additional responsibilities include basic preventative maintenance and cleaning, fire wood distribution, heavy equipment operation, traffic control and similar assignments as requested. Must have a clean valid Driver’s License and be able to sit for long periods of time, lift 25-50 lbs frequently and bend, twist and kneel around equipment. Previous experience is not necessary but is preferred. DOT Medical card is preferred, CDL is a plus. Bring your experience as a Rental Tech to a leadership role in a busy rental shop. Work with the shop supervisor to help with the implementation of shop policies, staff scheduling and work on the shop floor ensuring a positive guest experience by fitting rental equipment and helping to train rental staff. Work closely with repair shop staff to tune and repair equipment as needed and assist in daily recordkeeping as directed by the shop supervisor. Weekend and Holiday availability is a must. Supervise Cub Camp staff members, coordinate ski groups with Ski School instructors, and create curriculum for inside play and inside portion of the ski lesson. Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Human/Child Development or a related field; or Child Development Associate (CDA); or three years of successful experience with groups of children and successful completion of four higher-education courses (12 credits) in topics related to Early Childhood Education. Successful candidate will have the ability to be trained in basic ski instruction appropriate for three-year-olds. Position begins in November, and is full-time requiring all weekends and holidays.
