08/29/2014 | Beer Pairing Dinner Series at 1900′ Burger
This Beer Pairing Dinner is currently SOLD OUT
Join us for a culinary experience that will have your taste buds jumping for joy. We know that you lov . . .e beer. So do we. Great beer is even better with great food. It is a common misconception that wine is the only beverage that food can be effectively paired with. On the contrary, beer actually has far more complex flavors and nuances that can be accentuated when accompanied by the proper food. That’s why our Executive Chef and his team have hand-picked a few of their favorite boutique craft breweries to bring you the Beer Pairing Dinner Series at 1900’ Burger.
Every event will feature four gourmet food courses each paired with beers from that night’s featured craft brewery or craft beer style. The evening will be conducted by a representative from the brewery and our Executive Chef Michael Giorgio. As your hosts, they will introduce each course and describe what you will be eating and drinking, and why they chose to pair them together.
There are a limited number of seats available for each event so advance reservations are required. When we started doing Beer Pairing Dinners over the summer every one of them sold out and we don’t want you to miss out on your chance to enjoy this awesome experience.
Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. | Check out the Menu!

SEPTEMBER EVENTS

09/19/2014 – 09/21/2014 | Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival
From thevermontfestival.com:
On Friday night, the preview tasting of Vermont wines and cheeses is blended into a Village Stroll in the center of Wil . . .mington. Those wanting to just enjoy the evening in the village can listen to outdoor entertainers and everyone is eligible to judge the Vermont Soup Contest. Soup samples and the ballot to vote are free. The wine tastings are $7 per person, featuring three Vermont wineries and a sampling of the Grafton Village Cheese Company’s specialties, which have been handmade in Vermont since 1892.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Festival events shift to nearby West Dover, where it is tucked in beside the landmark clocktower building, nestled under the ridgelines of the 3,600 foot peak. There’s just a hint of an Italian Alps feel to the setting. The gigantic Festival tents, where admission is $15 or $26 for a two-day pass, cover a huge open space that is typically buried in snow banks all winter long. It’s just a few yards from the lifts at the popular Mount Snow resort. As soon as the tables and booths are set up and the decorations are complete, it becomes clear that the Vermont Wine and Harvest Festival is no ordinary event. For one thing, the camaraderie among the various growers and winemakers who come from all over the state makes the Festival feel like a great family reunion.

17th Annual Mount Snow Oktoberfest
Like most German-themed Oktoberfest events, the 17th Annual Mount Snow Oktoberfest will have plenty of beer, schnit . . .zel and Oom-pah music; but throw in kids games, pumpkin painting, an apple sling shot and the famous “schnitzel toss” and you’ve got two days of fun for the whole family! A Columbus Day Weekend tradition since 1997, the Mount Snow Oktoberfest is one of our signature festivals and was named a 2014 Top 10 Fall Event by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
The Kid’s Zone is where families will find festival games like the beanbag toss, a huge bouncy house, pumpkin painting and other kid-friendly activities. While the young ones are playing, the big kids can enjoy a large selection of beers from at least 25 different German and domestic breweries as well as authentic German fare served out of Der Markeplatz in the Main Base Lodge and the sausage roast outside of Cuzzins. Plus, try your hand at games like the keg toss, yodeling contest and stein holding as well as a horseshoe tournament.
