OCTOBER EVENTS

10/10/2014 | Beer Pairing Dinner Series at 1900′ Burger
Join us for a culinary experience that will have your taste buds jumping for joy. We know that you love beer. So do we. Great beer is even better w . . .ith great food. It is a common misconception that wine is the only beverage that food can be effectively paired with. On the contrary, beer actually has far more complex flavors and nuances that can be accentuated when accompanied by the proper food. That’s why our Executive Chef and his team have hand-picked a few of their favorite boutique craft breweries to bring you the Beer Pairing Dinner Series at 1900’ Burger.
Every event will feature four gourmet food courses each paired with beers from that night’s featured craft brewery or craft beer style. The evening will be conducted by a representative from the brewery and our Executive Chef Michael Giorgio. As your hosts, they will introduce each course and describe what you will be eating and drinking, and why they chose to pair them together.
There are a limited number of seats available for each event so advance reservations are required. When we started doing Beer Pairing Dinners over the summer every one of them sold out and we don’t want you to miss out on your chance to enjoy this awesome experience.
This event will feature seasonal European Brews. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. | Menu Coming Soon!

10/11/2014 – 10/12/2014 | 17th Annual Oktoberfest
17th Annual Mount Snow Oktoberfest
Like most German-themed Oktoberfest events, the 17th Annual Mount Snow Oktoberfest will have plenty of beer, schnit . . .zel and Oom-pah music; but throw in kids games, pumpkin painting, an apple sling shot and the famous “schnitzel toss” and you’ve got two days of fun for the whole family! A Columbus Day Weekend tradition since 1997, the Mount Snow Oktoberfest is one of our signature festivals and was named a 2014 Top 10 Fall Event by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce.
The Kid’s Zone is where families will find festival games like the beanbag toss, a huge bouncy house, pumpkin painting and other kid-friendly activities. While the young ones are playing, the big kids can enjoy a large selection of beers from at least 25 different German and domestic breweries as well as authentic German fare served out of Der Markeplatz in the Main Base Lodge and the sausage roast outside of Cuzzins. Plus, try your hand at games like the keg toss, yodeling contest and stein holding as well as a horseshoe tournament.
Head up to The Bullwheel on the Bluebird Express for more brews and better views! The Bluebird Express will be open for scenic chairlift rides on Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12 from 10 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 4 p.m.! Last chair down at 4:45 p.m.
Enhance your Oktoberfest experience by taking a ride to the 3,600-foot summit of Mount Snow aboard the Bluebird Express. Often referred to as “flying couches”, the Bluebird’s chairs comfortably seat six adults for a smooth ride to the top where you will disembark and have an opportunity to explore the alpine environment. Be sure to bring your camera for some photo ops on the observation deck of the Summit Lodge! Purchase your scenic chair ride tickets at the Clocktower Building, Toll Haus or Mount Snow Sports at the Grand. Save yourself some time and buy your scenic ride tickets at the window when you pick up your Oktoberfest tickets so you can go right from the festival grounds up the lift. For chairlift schedule, go here.
Save BIG on your Oktoberfest vacation package with rates starting at just $77 per person (based on double occupancy, minimum two night stay), which includes lodging and admission to the festival.
