Freestyle Competitions Program
MOUNT SNOW TRAINING CENTER
Mount Snow’s Training Center is one of New England’s premier freestyle, alpine race and snowboard education and competition centers. Our specialized seasonal programs afford young athletes the opportunity to further enhance their love of their sport through our Development and Competitions Programs.
Our Competition Programs offer young athletes the opportunity to dream big and strive to reach their highest goals. This 18-week seasonal program trains athletes to compete in alpine racing, snowboarding and freestyle skiing. Our professional and seasoned coaching staff motivates, instructs and mentors athletes as young as 8 years old up to 18 years old. Athletes will learn the technical aspects of their sport, in a fun and challenging environment that promotes good sportsmanship.
Freestyle Competitions: This program offers coaching to athletes who compete in moguls, big air and slope-style sanctioned events. Freestyle skiers can compete in Eastern USSA events Southern Vermont USASA events. For the past several years, athletes have competed in the Freestyle Championships, Junior Freestyle Olympics, Junior World Championships and the National Freestyle Championships. All competitors must be members of USSA and/or USASA depending on competition schedules.
Applicants must be able to master the majority of the mountain terrain and ride all lifts. All new applicants must be screened before acceptance to ensure the readiness of the athlete and proper program placement.
The program runs every Saturday and Sunday, 11/30/13 – 3/30/2014, from 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm, as well as the additional dates of 12/23/2013; 12/26-27/2013; 1/20/2014 and 2/17/2014. Please note the program does not run 12/24-25/2013.
2013 – 2014 Program Pricing:
• $1400 for the first child
• $1350 for each additional sibling
* Program cost does not include Mount Snow Season Pass
* Program cost increases $200.00 after 9/2/2013
