Mount Snow provides employment opportunities to candidates from all over the world! Last winter over 250 people from South America, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and Europe joined the team at Mount Snow for the work experience of a lifetime.

Located in Southern Vermont just hours away from Boston and New York City, Mount Snow is a choice destination for those who wish to experience what life is like at a premier ski resort AND have a chance to visit some of the greatest cities the U.S. has to offer.

If you are interested in working at Mount Snow for the 2009-2010 winter, please read the following carefully, and contact our Human Resources Supervisor, Willian Parent, with any further questions.

Mount Snow employs international workers who have obtained one of the following two Visa types:

J-1 Student Exchange Work/Travel Visa:

The J-1 visa is designed for university students that are interested in a work and travel experience in the United States. The duration of the visa is comprised of two parts, work and travel.  All Mount Snow employees on J-1 visas are required to work for the full 4-month duration, at which point 30 days of travel anywhere in the USA is allowed. This means that you will work for 4 months, from approximately December 15th to April 15th. After your work is complete at Mount Snow, the J-1 visa is valid for an additional 30 days to travel anywhere in the United States.

If you are interested in obtaining a J-1 visa to work at Mount Snow during the winter 2007-2008, you must contact Universal Student Exchange. ALL J-1 visas must be obtained through U.S.E., including returning staff members.*

Returning Staff:

J-1  *Returning staff members do NOT need to participate in the job-fair/interview process. First, contact Tony Rosinski to confirm your re-hire status. After he confirms that Mount Snow would like to hire you for another season, sign up for the “independent-placement” option with U.S.E., and fax or email your blank job-offer form to (802) 464-4325 or wparent@mountsnow.com. Please be sure to include your name, phone number and email address.
