Snow employee, you'll work at one of the largest resorts in the East.
We're located in southern Vermont, just 2 1/2 hours from Boston and 4
hours from New York City.

Vehicle Mechanic: Responsible for equipment maintenance at Mount Snow garage. Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment, small and medium gasoline and diesel engines and automotive-type electrical systems. Must have experience with hydraulics, grinding techniques, welding and fabrication. Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Pay commensurate with experience.
Purchasing Manager: Manage the resort's central purchasing functions, department and staff. Locate suppliers, price goods and services, obtain bids and estimates, determine best buy and place orders. Administer and plan the department budget to meet or exceed goals. Ability to work effectively with other company staff and vendors. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical and construction equipment and supplies preferred. Requires superior negotiating and communications skills and prior supervisory experience. Prior resort experience a plus. Qualifications: 1-3 years experience and BS degree in business preferred, or 5-7 years experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Toddler Room Head Teacher: Organization and supervision of the daily operations of assigned group of children, including indoor and outdoor activities. Planning and scheduling of various group activities involving singing dancing, reading, arts and crafts, assist with opening/closing procedures, signing in children and confer with parents to explain center services, schedules, rates, and policies. Qualifications: Qualifications: CDA or AS in Early Childhood or Human/Child Development or 4 years successful experience working with young children and 4 higher education courses completed in Early Childhood Education or Human/Child Development.
Electrician: Experienced electrician to perform a variety of installations and repairs of electrical equipment and systems. Tasks may include working on ski lifts and towers, snowmaking equipment, electrical systems and communication systems. May also be asked to assist in design and fabrication of new electrical devices/systems. Will receive moderate supervision from electrical foreman. Qualifications: Broad base of technical knowledge and skills related to electronics, electrical circuitry and equipment including installation, failure diagnosis and repair. Prefer previous experience directly related to ski lifts, snowmaking and buildings. Journeyman electrician’s license desirable. Must be licensed in Vermont.
Web Interactive Manager: The Mount Snow Web Interactive Manager will maximize the potential of the internet and new media in driving business to the resort. He or she will author the resort's website content and provide support to other departments such as graphics, copy writing and photography (still and video). He or she will develop and manage new media efforts, including flash video, rich media, blogs, SMS messaging, social networking, audio and video podcasting, viral marketing and more.
Qualifications: College degree with minimum two years experience in web design, or the equivalent combination of skills and experience. Expert level knowledge of current web standards, browser limitations and cross-browser compatibility issues. Ability to hand-code XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite knowledge. Must be a Photoshop expert. Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Flash and Actionscript a plus. Knowledge of open source CMS implementation. Other technologies/software knowledge include FTP, Text Wrangler, Adobe Illustrator, Flash Copy Writing, web design and coding, photography, audio and video recording and editing skills, Media Encoder, Bridge, Dreamweaver, XAMPP. The position also requires knowledge of the ski/snowboard industry, attention to detail, flexibility, and dedication to help the Mount Snow team as a whole.
Seasonal Lodging Opportunities
Group Service Coordinator: The Group Service Coordinator is responsible for execution of the highest service levels when working with our groups and individual guests. The coordinator is responsible for the processing and fulfillment of group lift ticket orders, including printing and delivery, as assigned by the Group Sales Manager. Assist in performing additional service duties and general office operations including reporting and maintaining administration on special programs. This position is seasonal from November through late March/early April as business levels require.
Qualifications: One to three years prior experience in a customer service environment and/or related experience and desire to learn this industry. Excellent organizational, problem solving and cumputing skills, inclusive of Word, Excel and property management systems. Knowledge of Siruis Sales, Springer-Miller and Report Manager systems preferred. Good filing, record keeping and office management skills. Ability to learn and re-convey a wide variety of information about the products and services available as well as general information about the area. Prior cash handling experience is required.
Deli Workers: Looking for friendly, outgoing staff for the Grand Country Deli located in the Grand Summit Hotel for the winter season. Responsibilities include sales, cash handling, making salads and sandwiches to order, and some light pick-up/cleaning, etc. Good customer service skills required, previous deli/retail experience preferred. Minimum age is 18 years old.
Housekeeping Supervisor: Supervise and train assigned staff within our Condominium Rental Program. Responsibilities include housekeeping duties, inspections and making sure safety procedures are followed. Must have good administrative, organizational and supervisory skills. Must have experience with computer information systems; experience with hotel information systems preferred. Must have 2 plus years supervisory experience firm with references. Must be able lift 25 to 30 pounds. Must have dependable transportation and have a drivers license with clean driving record. Weekends and holidays required. Min age 21 years old.
Night Auditor - Snow Lake Lodge: Responsibilities include checking guests in & out, producing a variety of reports and responding to any and all guests' issues for our 92 room hotel and ~80 condominiums. A professional and pleasant demeanor is a necessity. This position requires excellent guest service skills. Computer experience is necessary. Experience with Springer Miller is a plus. Hours are 11pm-7am, 5 nights/week. This includes weekends and holidays.
Bell/Valet: Looking for part time staff with great guest service skills to work at Grand Summit Hotel. Help guests with luggage and park cars. You will need to be able to converse with the guests and make them feel comfortable upon their arrival, while they are our guests or as they get on their journey home. Pay plus gratuities. Great second job! Must have valid drivers license. Must be at least 21 years old with good driving record.
Dishwashers: Responsibilities: Maintain clean, sanitary stock of dishes and utensils. Load soiled dishes and appropriate soap into machine for set cycle. Unload and stack and sort dishes, flatware and glassware safely into appropriate storage area. Maintains a clean, sanitary work area and ensures safe storage of dish carts and related supplies.
Remove garbage from kitchen at end of shift. Clean floors and other kitchen areas as assigned.
Line Cooks: Positions available at the 200-room Grand Summit Resort Hotel and Conference Center. Excellent opportunity to learn or grow under an experienced food & beverage team. Ideal candidates will have excellent service skills, fine dining experience and 2 years culinary schooling, apprenticeship and/or work experience. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be 18 years old or older.

Ticket Supervisor: Responsible for the daily management of Clocktower ticketing outlets. This includes, but is not limited to, management of the ticketing facilities, indoor ticket staff and ticketing process.
Qualifications: 2 years of college plus at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Previous customer service and/or cash handling experience and the ability to communicate with a variety of people in a confident/authoritative manner. Ability to work under pressure of high customer volume, and to work as a team player with many different departments. Weekends and holidays a must.

Snowboard Shop Staff: Backside Snowboards in the Mount Snow base lodge is hiring sales staff for this coming season. Sales staff should be of the highest integrity, be outgoing, positive, and intelligent. All staff must show a demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and reliability. Applicants should have thorough knowledge of snowboard equipment, binding repairs, and a desire and ability to learn more. Minimum age 16 or older.
Snowboard Shop Key Holders: Mount Snow Retail is hiring key holders for each of our snowboard/ freestyle locations. To qualify for this position you must have retail, cash handling, and sales experience. You must show a history of demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and reliability with the ability to provide very strong work history and references. You should have experience in the action sports world, have a thorough knowledge of snowboarding hardgoods, softgoods, and accessories.

Harriman's Bartender: Tend bar at Harriman's in the Grand Summit Hotel. Bartending experience and great customer service skills required. Afternoon, evening and late night shifts available. Weekends and holidays a must.
Seasonal Child Care Positions
Child Care Center Cook: Must love kids! Mount Snow Child Care needs a cheerful person to prepare/cook morning and afternoon snacks and lunches for the kids. Part-time schedule includes weekends and holidays.
Cub Camp Supervisor: Plan and facilitate Mount Snow's three year old ski program. Develop a fun program to get kids excited about skiing! Supervise 10-15 Cub Camp staff members, coordinate ski groups and on-hill activities as well as create curriculum for inside play. Planning and scheduling of various group activities involving singing dancing, reading, arts and crafts, assist with opening/closing procedures, signing in children and confer with parents to explain center services, schedules, rates, and policies. Qualifications include Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Early Childhood or Human/Child Development and two years successful experience relative to population, or a Bachelor's degree and four courses successfully completed in Early Childhood related topics and three years of succesful experience relative to population. Supervisory experience preferred. Position to begin early November.

Ski/Snowboard School
Children’s Programs - Mountain Camp/Mountain Riders Supervisors: Responsible for the daily program supervision of Mount Snow Ski and Snowboard School’s 7-14 ski and snowboard program. This includes, but is not limited to, supervision of their facility area, supervision of Mountain Camp/Mountain Riders staff (30+ instructors), verification of ticketing and security tags, program paperwork, and maintenance of learning terrain and equipment in conjunction with the Mountain Camp/Riders Programs Manager. This position requires a broad base of knowledge of the ski industry with at least two years teaching experience and a minimum high school education. Level I or higher PSIA/AASI/BASI/USSCA certification a plus.
Children's Programs - Snow Camp Supervisors: Implement, supervise, coordinate and monitor the services and programs of the Snow Camp program (ages 4-6). Exercise partial supervisory authority, directly and indirectly over 15 employees. Confer regularly with staff to assign and review work, coordinate services and activities, resolve problems. Assist in the planning for staffing needs with other supervisors and team leaders. Take a proactive role in implementing and maintaining program improvements. Coordinate with the Snow Camp Manager future training and mentoring needs and monitoring of staff development and improvement issues. Coordinate the traffic flow of pros and customers in the facility and learning areas. Confer regularly with guests to explain Snow Camp programs, services, policies, schedules, rates, handle unusual problems, requests and/or complaints. Assist with general maintenance of the facilities as needed. Qualifications: High School education and/or a minimum two years successful experience relative to the operation of a similar seasonal business. Have a broad base of knowledge in the ski business with two years of teaching. Good skiing/riding skills required. PSIA/AASI/USSCA/PDP Level I minimum certification. Has the ability to deal effectively with guests and other employees
