I am sorry that the renaming of our Higher Education Pass (College Pass) has caused confusion. That is what we did – we renamed the Higher Education, the 1826 pass. And we dropped the rule that you had to show proof of full-time college participation. For most families who have been skiing with us since their children were in Snow Camp, when their 18 or 19 yr old goes off to college it is a financial hardship because they are faced with the price of tuition. In our attempts to simplify the administration of the college pass we assumed that most people in the 18-26 yr age group are in college or trying to figure out “what to be when they grow up” and do not have a lot of disposable income. It is an important market for us and most of our passholders love that they get a break when their kids go off to college.
I know college is a long way off for your 6 yr old but we have many families who have raised their children, right through college, on the mountain. Give your son a few more years and he will be out skiing you!!! Don’t blink because unfortunately it happened too fast with my kids! Thank you for choosing Mount Snow.]]>
