March snowstorms that fall right before St. Patty’s day = the Luck of the Irish. Our extremely conservative mountain forecaster is already saying 6+ inches of snow Wed night into Thursday. I am hoping that total will rise as we get closer. 6″ of snow would make all of our favorite natural snow trails so much fun…especially with the warm temps they are forecasting for the weekend.
This year we are spreading our St Patty’s celebration out over three days to create one big ShamRock weekend.
The band line-up looks fantastic and weather permitting we will have a party on Main Street Sat, Sun and Mon! I am especially excited for a new event, the Blessing of the Skis and Snowboards at the summit of our mountain on Sunday! Load the Bluebird at 8 am sharp and the ceremony will be performed when we all reach the summit. And if you are here on Monday, find the pot of gold and win a season pass.
I am sure you all know this but lift tickets on Monday, March 17th are just $17 if you buy them in advance by March 15th.
Let’s all do a little Irish jig, dig out your lucky charms and summon up a big Nor’easter to lay down a foot or two of white. Then layer on your best green on-snow attire and come party with us for three days, straight!
