The Sunbrook Quad and the Challenger Triple were on hold due to wind and it put stress on the the base area of each face. We should have had better maze and crowd management and we should have let people know about the situation before their descent. We have no excuses other than being short handed due to several lift operators calling in sick – we have a very nasty bug circulating through a few of our departments. Hard lesson learned and I hope you have the chance to ski today and see improvements made. Thank you for your feedback.

However the burden on the other North Face lift and the Bear Trap lift is such that lines extend way passed any ropes, turning what should be lines into a mob. If you can predict the situation (e.g, this morning), wouldn’t it make sense to extend the ropes or have additional personel at the operating lifts to provide some organization?
