Mount Snow’s environment might benefit if the Moover drivers turned off their engines while waiting in the parking lot. Please check out this website for more information:

Of course if it we up to me, I’d just make snow on the NF and just wait for mother nature to do the rest…..probably not the best strategy if you own a ski resort and you want people to … you know … come there ! See ya on Monday !

I noticed it was pretty crowded on Canyon around 10:30 – 12 noon, today. This will relieve some of the pressure and it allows our ski and snowboard school an alternative for guests who have advanced past the Launch Pad. Snow Dance also has fan guns so we can make more snow, quickly. The way our hill is set up, it is also ideal to make snow on River Run and Snow Dance simultaneously. And since we have the North Face open, it is really advantageous to get River Run open (think patrol trying to get a sled out of the bottom of the Face.) Finally, we can access Snow Dance terrain with the same lifts that are currently running. If we open Thanks Walt we have to run 1-2 more lifts and when we have limited terrain we try to keep lifts to a minimum too. Thanks for asking.

Snowdance is essentially a beginner (low intermediate) short trail, Thanks Walt is a much longer more varied trail skiable by that same crowd….. just wondering.
