Located on the shore of Snow Lake at the junction of the South Access Road and Handle Road, the Snow Barn is home to one of the best live music scenes in southern Vermont with performances every Friday and Saturday nights during the winter and more during holiday weeks. Harriman’s Farm to Table
If you’re looking for a classy nightlife scene, look no further than Harriman’s Farm to Table bar located on the ground floor of the Grand Summit Resort Hotel. With live acoustic music on weekend nights and holidays combined a great selection of specialty martinis, local draft beers and fine spirits, you can toast to the great day you had on the mountain with fellow connoisseurs. Serving breakfast and dinner seven days a week throughout the winter season, Harriman’s Farm to Table is a member of the Vermont Fresh Network with a focus on using local, fresh ingredients in a majority of the items on the menu.
Named after Mount Snow’s founder, Walter Schoenknecht, the rejuvenated Walt’s Pub in Snow Lake Lodge has live music from local musicians on weekend nights and a pub menu for those after dinner cravings. Watch the game on one of the flat screen TV’s or watch the lights from the snow cats out on the mountain through the giant windows overlooking Snow Lake. With cold beer and great drinks, Walt’s Pub has become a local favorite so you’re sure to get some inside knowledge on where the best stashes are on the mountain for your next day’s adventure.
The town of West Dover is loaded with some great nightlife. Just a half-mile from the resort is The Silo which always has a DJ spinning or a live band playing if you feel like getting on the dance floor. Across the street for The Silo is the Dover Bar and Grill, affectionately known as the Dbag by locals, which has been named the Number One Dive Bar in the U.S. by SKI Magazine. If you’re looking for a true local scene, Dbag is where you’ll find it. Just up the road is Last Chair with a great beer selection, giant arcade for the kid in you and a delectable pub menu.
