Back for our twenty first season of mountain bike racing this year’s we have six weekends scheduled including a brand new festival in August. Our homegrown series has branched off into some new directions with new disciplines Super D, XC, Cyclocross, joining our infamous downhill and dual slalom events for 2009. Kenda Mountain Bike Series Race Current Results>
We have added new Gravity events to our already established downhill series! Our series will again encompass four weekends at Mount Snow starting May 30 & 31st and will feature two "away" events at our sister resort – Attitash – located in Bartlett, New Hampshire in July and August – for a total of six series events. The season will culminate with a Gravity East Event on October 3 & 4th. We will host a fun Dual Slalom event along with our end of season awards BBQ. Our DH weekend dates will also feature some new twists this year with Super D’s and Dual Slalom mini-events on given Saturday afternoon and evenings for some added racing action!

Endurance Events …
In July & September we will welcome in the Root 66 Race Series crew for two very different endurance weekends. In July, Mount Snow will host our first ever Cyclocross event on Saturday July 26th. This race will be fun for all competitors and spectators alike as the course will wind its way through the Mount Snow Base Area featuring unique obstacles the competitors will have to navigate on their bike or on their feet. On Sunday the Root 66 XC stop will feature categories in Cat 1, 2, and 3 respectively as well as a cash purse for our pro elite class on our infamous cloverleaf five mile loop. The finals of the Root 66 Race Series will take place on the Mountain on a new course entitled the Trail of Two Lakes encorporating two Snowmaking lakes on the mountain within this 5 mile loop topping out at the 2250' elevation point.

The Festival …
On August 7,8,9 we will welcome the world back to Mount Snow as we host the first ever Mount Snow Mountain Bike Festival. Saturday will be our headlining event the Kenda Cup East/USA Cycling Pro XCT presented by Sho-Air. This UCI sanctioned event will feature the top XC athletes in the country and the world as they compete in our world famous cloverleaf course. Can back to back National Champions Mary McConalaugh and Adam Craig hold off the world’s best this year? You’ll have to come and check it out. The weekend will feature all the events you are accustomed to including amateur racing, our infamous DH courses, Saturday nights Pro Dual Slalom event as well as some new twists. This year our event will feature an Observed Trials Exhibition on Saturday and Sunday afternoons featuring World Champion, Jeff Lenowski & some of his friends; retail vendors, exhibition booths, and a fun concert Saturday night after the fun pro mountain cross championships.
