Take a Scenic Chairlift Ride in the Green Mountains

Enjoy a fun and comfortable ride to the summit of Mount Snow aboard the Bluebird Express while taking in the surrounding views. Once at the top, you can explore the alpine environment or enjoy a picnic on the observation deck of the summit building. Round trip scenic chair lift rides are available on weekends (and select weekdays – see schedule below) throughout the summer, weather permitting. Call 802-464-4040 for more information.

Some guests enjoy taking the chairlift up to the summit and then descending the mountain at their own pace. Your efforts will be rewarded with magnificent views of southern New England and New York State.

All self-guided hikes utilize the resort’s expansive trail system on the Main and Carinthia mountain faces. The Ridge Trail is a favorite among hikers for its dynamic 2.5-mile trek that links the peaks of Mount Snow and Haystack.

For safety reasons, Mount Snow reserves the right to deny ski/scenic lift access to riders who cannot properly fit in a rescue harness – please call 802-464-4040 for details.

*Lift service is weather dependent. Any heavy rain necessitates closing the lift due to National Forest Service regulations. Lightning and thunder necessitate closing the lift. Call 802-464-4040 for more information

***Tough Mudder Aug 10 & 11 Operations Plan: Lift #17 Bluebird Express to the summit will be closed. Lift #9 open for scenic rides. Must be TM participant or purchase a spectator pass before you can purchase a lift pass. Mountain bike trails will be closed, except Crosstown. There will be no lift downloading during this time.
