The Mount Snow Sign Shop is pleased to open up our doors to your shopping needs.  For many years guests, season passholders, and history buffs have asked us to produce some of our historic prints.  Well your wishes have been granted! Below please find a number of items for sale from our vault as well as authentic Trail Signs!  Choose from any trail on the mountain or create your own personalized sign.    Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: All sign shop orders have a minimum of TWO WEEK lead time. All signs *must be picked up* at Mount Snow’s Marketing office on the 3rd floor of the Main Base Lodge between 8-4pm daily. We can not ship sign shop orders at this time.

MOUNT SNOW TRAIL SIGNS

Now you can own an authentic replica of any Mount Snow trail sign!

Sizes: Large (60″ x 10″ – yes, that’s 5 feet!) or Small (36″ x 10″)

Select a Custom sign to choose your own wording. Large signs have a 17 character limit and Small signs have a 13 character limit.  Please note trail sign orders take 10-14 days to complete orders.

HISTORIC PRINTS

Historic prints feature a wide variety of images from Mount Snow’s 56 years of skiing and riding culture.  Prints are 18″ x 36″ or 36″ x 18″ and printed on “gatorboard” a strong foam style board allowing for easy framing, mounting  and shipping.  Prints are usually in stock unless otherwise noted and can be picked up at Mount Snow’s Marketing Department – 3rd Floor of the Main Base Lodge.

CLOCKTOWER, & LIFTS – circa early 70s
The Clocktower in the early 70s sat where the Grand Summit Hotel currently resides and was a lift terminal for the G1 Summit Gondola.  To the left is Little Beaver a short lift that accessed beginner terrain.

SKI SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR LINE UP – circa 1971
Mount Snow’s ski school instructors ready for “morning line up.”  The Ski School Director would ring a bell and instructors would line up in preparation to be paired with guests for lessons.

MOUNT SNOW LIFE SAVER &  POOL
Mount Snow’s base lodge featured an indoor skating rink and an outdoor year round swimming pool.  The pool was heated to 90 degrees year round and featured reflective mirrors as well as glass barriers to keep warmth.

One of Mount Snow’s original lifts.  This Monorail Summit Lift brought skiers to the 3600′ summit.  It also dropped grease on jackets and gear!

During the 1960s LIFE Magazine did a photo shoot and this shot was featured.  Two women enjoy the southern exposure while guests enjoy the slopes and the warm water behind them.  Present day these ladies would be sitting around the TimberHouse entrance.

This four person car would bring guests from the Snow Lake Lodge to the Main Base Area.  The first true in hotel ski lift the air car became an iconic and famous feature of Mount Snow in the early days.
