Dear Instructors & Coaches:

I hope that everyone had a terrific summer and like us, is gearing up for a great winter. We were happy to witness the installation of over 100 new snow guns and the refurbishing of several areas on campus. Non-material changes include giving Perfect Turn a new name: The Mount Snow Ski & Snowboard School! This is a great opportunity for us to make a fresh start with a new, ambitious company and anticipate a stellar season.

We’ve started “thinking winter” regarding staff, and have set the date for our joint Ski & Snowboard School/ATC rehire orientation. Saturday, November 3rd we will be meeting in the Sundance Base Lodge for paperwork completion from 8:00am-9:00am, and registration from 9:00am-9:30am. Please allow ample time to turn in and/or complete your hiring paperwork, as we will be starting promptly at 9:30am. Paperwork can be downloaded and filled out ahead of time, with the exception of the I-9 document.

Please be sure to have either your passport, or two forms of I.D., which include:
I.D. One: Driver’s License, I.D. card w/photo, OR School I.D. w/photo
I.D. Two: Social Security card OR original/certified copy of Birth Certificate
*Failure to bring these items will result in you being unable to participate in the orientation.

At 9:30am we will hear a brief introduction from our Senior Management, and then as with last year, split into groups. This year our agenda features three guest speakers who are prominent members of the ski/snowboard industry, as well as training, safety and policy change discussions. The orientation will run until approximately 3:00pm, with lunch provided by Tony’s Pizza. Locker assignments and uniform pick-ups will be available on Sunday, November 4th from 9:00am-12:00pm in the Discovery Center for instructors and the Alpine Training Center for coaches. If you are not able to get your uniform at this time, you may pick it up on your first day of work, or make other arrangements.
