Mount Snow Vermont is located in Southern Vermont’s Deerfield Valley and is home to the Mount Snow Resort, as well as the valley towns of Dover, Wilmington, and Whitingham. The Mount Snow area is the closest Vermont recreation area to the New York (3 1/2 hours) and Boston (2 1/2 hours) metros.

THE TOWN OF DOVER BICENTENNIAL COMMERATIVE COIN

The Coin is 39mm bronze. The obverse side is a sugaring scene, by Deanna Asborno. The scene was winner of the Bicentennial Committee’s design contest. The reverse side of the coin is the Dover Town Hall, by Linda Moor-Anelli. It is from the coin struck in 1976 to commerate the Nation’s Bicentennial and the Vermont Bicentennial in 1977.

Coins are presently available at the Dover Town Office for $10.00.
