I noticed in an email yesterday that you’re giving a free lift ticket to folks who sign up for the FanFare card at the Boston ski expo. Will there be similar opportunities for lift tickets for folks in other areas?
We typically do these types of promo’s at our Mount Snow booth at ski/snowboard expos.
Any chance of additional Cams this season or even repointing them to some real stuff rather than simply the line at BB or a distance shot at Carathia or the very top leadin trail to Exhibition.. Maybe a shot on at Northface from the bottom looking up, or some from the middle of the mountian like on Ridge or Cascade. Seeing is believing as much as the “truth in reporting” is.
Jimbo, because we need a building with a network connection for our cams, we are somewhat limited in where we can place them. They need to be relatively easy to get to for maintenance and also placed in a spot where people can’t easily mess with them. Mid-mountain would be nearly impossible, as would the base of the north face.
Any thoughts on an opening day (Possibly Nov.17)?
I just want to thank Catherine for sharing this story. It’s such an imraotpnt message. We pushed our twin boys on swim teams because we were swimmers and they both hated it. When we allowed them to quite they both moved on the the sports they truly wanted to play (basketball and baseball) and their joy was immediately evident.
