Winter Activities

The Mount Snow event schedule is bigger and better than any other year before.

We have something for everyone, big air and big events like the Carinthia Open, huge festivals like the Mount Snow Mardi Gras Celebration during Presidents Week, concerts and music acts at the Snow Barn and big time fun all the time! Don’t miss the Mount Snow Film Festival in December!

For more information on the mountain’s entire season of events, music, competitions and more visit the Mount Snow Event Calendar.

While we have events on most weekends throughout the season there are tons of other activities to do within the Mount Snow Valley. Experience winter as never before. Be pulled by a team of Siberian huskies on the ride of a lifetime.

Experience the thrill and excitement of a dog sledding adventure in the Green Mountians of southern Vermont. A team of our friendly Siberian huskies will take you on an exhilarating ride on our network of groomed woods trails. With a musher as your guide you will get a chance to witness true working sled dogs in action, doing what they love to do… run!

Your adventure begins with an introduction to the kennel and the dogs that will be pulling your sled. We will demonstrate how we harness the team and give you an overview of what to expect. Sleigh Rides @ Adams Farm

It’s sleigh ride season at the Adams Farm. Since 1980 the Adams Farm has offered
afternoon and evening traditional Vermont sleigh rides pulled by Belgian draft horses, through the maple sugar grove, up along the ridge of their mountain, to an old log cabin for a warm up by the wood fires before coming back down the mountain. At the cabin, visitors warm up by the fire, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and some tunes from the player piano. Sleigh rides are offered days and evenings as well as special sleigh rides for Christmas Eve, the New Year, full moons and Valentine’s Day.
