Mount Snow Mountain Updates

Hi there skiers and riders, it was a great day out there thanks for the 6" of fresh snow. Tuesday's forecast is calling for an even colder day, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 2 degrees at the summit with 15-30 mph W winds. There are 9 lifts scheduled with first chair at 9 a.m. and last chair at 4 p.m., Sunbrook first chair at 10 a.m., and North Face will be delayed to at least 11 a.m. due to weather. As always, lift operations are weather dependent. Bear Trap is the lift scheduled for Sunbrook on Tuesday to keep your ride short and limit exposure to the cold. Seasons chairlift is scheduled in place of Sundance Express due to snowmaking and cold. Outpost is scheduled for the North Face while Challenger gets repaired; we needed a part to complete the repair which has been overnighted from Nevada, but with the holiday, the part won't arrive until tomorrow. Our Lift Maintenance team is ready to get the lift back up and running as soon as they can.

We plan to be making turns on 73 trails, with 43 trails starting the day with a fresh groom. The top section of Long John will be closed for snowmaking, so there will be no beginner terrain available from the summit. Beginner terrain will be available on Launch Pad and N.E. Time/Snowdance. Roller Coaster will also be closed for snowmaking. At Carinthia, The Farm and Prospector will be closed for snowmaking and a fresh build, The Gulch will be closed for competition build, but you'll find features throughout Nitro, Prospector, Upper and Lower Fool's Gold, Junkyard, and Grommet. Check the Lift & Terrain Status page for lift and trail updates.

Snowmaking is back in action on Prospector, The Farm, Roller Coaster, and Long John.

The tubing park will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday through 3/9, plus bonus days 2/17-2/20.

Uphill travel will be closed tonight for winching and snowmaking. Please call our uphill access hotline at 802-339-8474 for more details.

It is your responsibility to observe all posted signs and trail closures. Patrol assesses trails and opens them when they’re ready, do not try to beat them to it!

The Clocktower and Carinthia ticket windows open at 8:45, Sundance ticket windows open at 9:00. Make sure you have My Epic app and you can skip the ticket windows, track your stats, and check lift & terrain status.
